What question do you most often ask the deck, or ask on behalf of another?

Day #23

Question:  What question do you most often ask the deck, or ask on behalf of another?

I most often ask the Tarot to read the energies of my life at the moment, so that I can stay more deeply engaged in the flow of my life.  The Tarot shows me remarkable doors to walk through when I work this way.  It also surprises me sometimes when I think that there is a lot of turbulence around me, but the Tarot shows me that I myself have stability and am consistently aligned with my lifelong theme of alignment with universal love.

An example of reading the energies of my life is when I feel trapped/stagnant, I ask the Tarot what I am pregnant with, and what will help me give birth to it.  The Tarot understands metaphoric questions like this well, and the cards in the resulting spread refresh my sense of direction.

In a way, the Tarot gives me language for what I’m going through.  I approach a self-reading with a “don’t know” mind, and simply ask the Tarot to “show me” what is going on.

Other people ask questions about the future, and while those are possible questions, nowadays, I re-frame the questions so that they are asking for insight into today.  My hope is to conserve the arts of introspection, and inspire others to participate in them.
