The Micromoon is full in Sagittarius, opposite the Sun in Gemini.

Question:  How does this Micromoon support the Heart?

Summary of Interpretation: This is a time for the Heart to reach through the dimensions to shape reality in a way that conforms to its gifts, and to train the mind to entertain the possibility that the Heart’s gifts are about to manifest.

Expansion and Practice Points: The central card is Atu II which is about being the master of unseen energies at play in the physical world, the way the Moon re-directs light energy from the Sun to the darkened side of the Earth. In the image, a priestess figure sits on her throne between two pillars inscribed with ancestral knowledge.  She makes herself a vessel by wearing the crescent moon crown and lifting her arms in invocation.  With the motion of her arms, she alters the web of existence which should be linear and of a single dimension in form.  By the will of the priestess, the web takes on more dimensions and incorporates the shape of a heart — the heart of the priestess.  The camel in the card further demonstrates heart wisdom because it alludes to the Hebrew letter Gimel, which in further studies is a lesson of giving kindness to those in need.  The bow on the lap of the priestess is not so much a weapon as it is a three stringed harp.  The song of the harp invites journeying through the dimensions with imagination.  In the context of the spread, the Micromoon within this lunar cycle offers to support the Heart’s ability to reach beyond the physical world into other energy pools, and shape that which the Heart took this life form to shape.

To the left and the right of Atu II there are the 2 of Swords and the 4 of Swords standing supportively like the pillars in Atu II, and not interfering.  In the Tarot, very few planets are happy in the Swords suit because intellectual processes resist transforming limitations.  However, here we have the majority of happy Swords cards appearing in the spread for this lunar cycle.  The Moon is in Libra in the 2 of Swords, and Jupiter is in Libra in the 4 of Swords.  As the images suggest, the weapons of battle come together to enforce fairness, expansion, equality, and making good decisions after much consideration.  It might feel like the mind thinks the very best plan of action is to manifest the Heart’s gifts.  Make hay while the Sun shines!

There is a definite sense of “get going” to this spread, as if there is not a moment to lose.  If one were to support the Heart with practices aligned with this Micromoon spread, one could utilize the following:  1) Find or play Tom Tom drumming, and with the sacred intention of viewing the Heart’s gifts, ask for a guide and go on a visualization drum journey.  Visualize the Heart’s dreams.  If the attention wanders, focus on Atu II during the drum journey and make notes of images and ideas that come up.  2) Meditate on the image of this spread regularly and ask for support for the Heart’s dreams.  Make a list of what takes up space in one’s life without being from the Heart.  3) Appeal to the Moon, to one’s spiritual allies and to one’s guardian angels for power to manifest the Heart’s dreams.  If the mind becomes resistant, remind it to be fair to the work the Heart has to do while it has a short human life.

A Starting Point Prayer to Develop as the Work Unfolds:

Mother Moon, we thank you for your light and beauty, and for offering to teach us to see and work extra-dimensionally for the good of all.  We hope to be worthy students of your lessons during this cycle.  Spirits of the East, we thank you for teaching us to hold a space of visions and the unknown while we invite new life.  Spirits of the South, we thank you for mobilizing support for whatever seeds we plant on your beautiful, fecund, fertile ground.  Spirits of the West, we thank you for the ancestral knowledge that will be woven into the dreaming we are doing to master the lesson of Atu II.  Spirits of the North, thank you for awaiting our words of sacred intention and for surrounding them with a positive ripple effect when we have uttered them.  Father Sky, thank you for all the beautiful celestial bodies and the water-giving clouds you house.  We love the otherworldly feelings we have when we gaze at you.  Mother Earth, thank you for your vast beauty and variety, for giving us our bodies and supporting our lives, and thank you for being the source of sustenance for whatever we dream.

Blessed be.

The Moon is full in Scorpio, opposite the Sun in Taurus.

Summary of Interpretation:  This Full Moon supports the Heart’s expansion (Jupiter) into its capacity to channel holistic happiness (Pisces).  The new territory takes the Heart on a journey through fears held in the central nervous system, with the goal of illuminating/transforming those.  This could be scary, but in this context, the fears have little substance and most likely have been hiding some important gifts related to the sacred feminine.  Instead of fear, the challenge of upgrading the Heart’s capacity for divine joy (think Delai Llama) may be more about motivating oneself to recognize and carry out a harvest of what is ripe and ready to provide a resource.  The Heart is ready to understand the union between sowing, farming and harvesting with love, and enjoying all parts of that cycle.  It is not that one toils over sowing, farming and harvesting, and then comes up empty-handed.  It is more that one happily plants the seeds of one’s gifts, tends them with wisdom and spiritual practices, and then, like a king, enjoys a return that is abundant enough to include resources for the next seeding.

Blessings.

The Moon is full in Libra, opposite the Sun in Aries.

Question:  How does this Full Moon support the Heart?

Summary:  This Full Moon as a crystalizing point of the lunar cycle from the last New Moon to the next, supports the Heart’s discovery of false hopes and impatient timeframes held by the ego, and the replacement of those with very stable feminine gifts, particularly 1) being a receptive channel for new life and 2) having the power to establish clarity and solidity amidst storms.

Tidbit about Meditative work for Personal Transformation:  A Tarot spread presents beautiful images rich with meaningful figures, colors, knowledge bases, astrological connections, and symbols.  Meditating and reflecting on the spread during the portal period (the current lunar cycle), together with opening the Heart to welcome support from the Moon and one’s allies, supports the intention to accept the gifts that the Moon is offering through the communication tool of the spread.

The Work and the Gifts:  The central card indicates an emotional rut that is the pathway to discovery for this cycle.  The way the cups are bone dry and the lotuses are falling apart as the result of the hot wind blowing from the red sky relates to the way the ego obsessively holds false expectations that tie up a lot of emotion, which includes pursuing some subconscious goals aggressively in the outer world instead of consciously setting sacred intentions, tending the fertile ground within to be a receptive magnet which attracts important opportunities, and connecting to the natural sources of power to align one’s own success with the greater good.  The ego may have meant well, but it was not guided by the Heart’s wisdom.

The card to the left holds some of the greatest gifts of the Moon and also Venus who is the planetary ruler of Libra, where this Full Moon resides.  These gifts arise from the way the sacred feminine is a doorway to new life and a nurturer of natural pleasure, however, not in a transient, inconsistent way; in a stable, eternal way.  Tapping into eternal pleasure accumulates as a power that walks forward and benefits the world in a variety of ways, like how a benevolent Queen graces her kingdom with what arises from her own giftedness.  The image transforms the hot-headed sense of “I have to get what I want” to the cool as a cucumber awareness that “I have to hold still and cultivate pleasurable new life with spiritual practice.”

The card to the right further assists with the heartbreak (“egobreak”) of not getting what one wanted by encouraging the mind to attend to practical matters that are getting out of hand due to lack of shrewd and experienced attention.  If “egobreak” is going on, energy is being scattered and important matters may be ignored, but the antidote is to pay attention, and involve the Heart’s wisdom to look at those matters from multi-dimensional perspectives.  Looking away from the previous trigger of obsession to the other integral components of one’s life can provide a place for one’s true self to show up more clearly.  Those experiences of clarity can inform the “egobreak” about how to regroup and come back with a deeper self awareness.

The Moon is full in Virgo, opposite the Sun in Pisces.

Question:  How does this Full Moon support the Heart?

Summary:  This Full Moon supports the enjoyment of an abundant life force.  Additionally, true to the Moon’s position in Virgo, the restoration of holistic health and purity behind the scenes complements the effortless, endless flow and enjoyment of that life force.  The central card shows the main opportunity of the Full Moon, which is to align with the flow of healing, abundant, life giving energy.  The pressure of the flowing streams of energy keep one full Hearted, creatively fertile, empowered to heal, and generous-minded.  So much to gain!  Meditation and reflection on this card reinforces the intention to claim this power during this lunar phase.  In the process of this intention, the power of the Full Moon can also clean the pump (the Heart), freeing it of two main saboteurs of the precious life force:  over-indulgence and distraction.  As the Moon holds the Heart in the surging flow of life, the energy drain of looking anywhere else in the outer world for that pure, high feeling gets tuned-up, along the lines of cleaning up any addictions or delusions.  Second, the mental distraction that drags the Heart away from its most sacred intentions is also up for re-programming.  The Heart needs to stand consistently in the flow of Divine Energy in order to water the seeds of its life-long values, and other shallow wellsprings run dry.
